"The realization of Solo Technopark as the Integrated-Area based on Science, which is capable of being a driving force of industrial growth and increased competitiveness of the region as well as regional economic growth".

Mission

  • Carry out efforts to improve the welfare of society, improving the quality of human resources and mastery of science and technology.
  • Building a culture of innovative, entrepreneurial spirit and quality conscious improve competitiveness.
  • Developing economic potential and increase the attractiveness of the investment.
  • Develop physical infrastructure, science and technology infrastructure and business infrastructure, and improve the management of the area.
  • Developing competencies of Human Resources (HR) and HR Industrial Technology Entrepreneurship.
  • Developing Business Incubator & Technology, Start-Up Company, Research & Development and Information Communication & Technology.
  • Develop business networks and entrepreneurship (Networked Business and Entrepreneurship) to support the industry.

 
The vision of the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) and Long Term Development Plan (RPJPD)

The Long Term Development Plan (RPJP) National is the national development planning document which is a derived from the purpose of establishing the State Government of Indonesia set forth in the Preamble to the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1945 in the form of a vision, mission, and direction of national development for the past 20 years forward to covering the period from 2005 to 2025.

Regional Long Term Development Plan, hereinafter abbreviated RPJPD is regional planning document for a period of 20 (twenty) years.

Vision RPJPN Indonesia 2005-2025:
"The realization of the Indonesian nation that is Advanced, Independent, Fair and Prosperous".

Vision RPJPD Jawa Tengah 2005-2025:
"Jawa Tengah province that is Independent, Progressive, Prosperous, and Sustainable". 

Vision RPJPD Surakarta City 2005-2025:
"Surakarta City that is Cultured, Self, Advanced, and Prosperity".


The mission of the National Science and Technology Development

Missions to realize the vision RPJPN 2005-2025 Indonesia are, as follows:

  • Indonesian people realize competitiveness, by promoting the development of human resources quality and competitiveness;
  • Improve acquisition and utilization of science and technology through research, development and application towards sustainable innovation;
  • Development of advanced infrastructure and legal reform and the state apparatus;
  • Strengthen the domestic economy based on advantages of each region toward competitive advantage by building linkages production systems, distribution and services, including domestic services.

 
Long Term Development Plan (RPJPD) Surakarta City 2005-2025

"Development of Science and Technology (Science and Technology) in Surakarta associated with efforts to improve regional competitiveness, and fostering a culture of innovation in the community, through research and development (Research and Development), both conducted by the City Government directly or by institutions -lembaga research and development in the Universities, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and the Business World. Activities performed by each institution generally still walk on their own according to the momentary needs faced by each institution, therefore the required synergy between institutional elements of science and technology in order to leverage the resources of science and technology to increase competitiveness in the face of global challenges ".


Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD) Surakarta City 2010-2015

"...In 2007, agreed to build the technology area called Solo Technopark, as the regional center of technology that combines elements of science and technology development, industry and business needs of the market and the strengthening of regional competitiveness. Expected through the development of integrated technology Solo Technopark, can build new resources and competitiveness for the Government of Surakarta and addressing the city based on the development of science and technology in the region. "
